The one exciting milestone we had was the other night. We had dinner at a friend's house and we could actually let the kids play amongst their selves and we only had to check in every so often. As Jason put it, we escaped the night with only a bee sting, snake bite, mild concussion, a few eye pokes and a near drowning.
It is fun seeing them start to really play well together. Ryn loves animals and they have parties and they fly around the house and chase each other and River comes behind her mimicking her play. They have come up with a few games they play together like they will close the door to a bed room and one will be on each side and they will pass something like paper under the door and River laughs so hard. I want to record his laugh and blog it because I think he has the best laugh I have ever heard. Ryn will pass him snacks in the car seat and she is so careful not to give him anything that is too crunchy (even though he has all his teeth). But then on the other hand she loves to push him down on the tile and squish him until he screams bloody murder, ah the joyful noises of my day.
During River's nap time (Ryn will not sleep) so we have been using that time for coloring, reading, counting, and of course a little nursing. Here are some random pictures we have taken over the last week and just 2 side notes. The elephant picked out all of the colors in ryn's coloring and

Stay tuned for another exciting day in Sarasota, FL. By the way the beaches here are pretty nice!!! Who wants to come visit?
