On our rainy day

First I noticed that River had fallen asleep on our bed so then I decided to spend some school time with Wren.


So we started working on her handwriting skills and we made mat man. He is made with big lines, little lines, big curves and little curves.
After making mat man, we then used the lines and curves to make letters and practice their sounds and thought of words that started with those sounds.

After practicing letters with the lines and curves we went to the drawing board and practiced writing the same letters that we practiced with the wooden lines and curves and all the while practicing the sounds and thinking of names and words that start with each.
And then finally her gratification is writing her name. She loves the dry erase board.
